I am not familiar with PSLawNet. What is its value to my organization?
PSLawNet, a nonprofit project of NALP, is a FREE public interest job database. Students and alumni at over 200 law schools have free access to PSLawNet through their schools' subscriptions. Your job postings - whether for internships, fellowships, staff positions or executive-level positions - can be viewed by thousands of public-interest job seekers at no charge to you.
I would like to work with a law student to secure funding and host them through a postgraduate fellowship. What do I do?
You can post this announcement on PSLawNet just as if it were a regular job listing. Select "Fellowship - Sponsor" as the Job Type.
Can I accept job applications directly through PSLawNet?
Yes, this new feature is designed to let PSLawNet serve as a one-stop recruiting shop for employer organizations. When posting a job, you can elect to receive applications directly through PSLawNet. They will be stored in an inbox that appears when you log into the site. You may review them at your convenience. If you do not want to receive applications through PSLawNet, simply do not use this tool and job seekers will not be able to submit applications directly.
For more information on how to use PSLawNet, please reference our Employer User Guide, or contact us at 202-296-0076 or pslawnet@nalp.org.

Elizabeth Marcon is a 3L at Fordham Law School, and learned about PSLawNet through Fordham’s Public Interest Resource Center during her first year. For her first summer, Elizabeth “had decided to work in environmental law in Colorado, but I had to find a way to look for a job out there while living in New York. PSLawNet allowed me to search for environmental and other legal public service organizations in various cities in Colorado so that I could tailor my job search.” By searching for environmental organizations, Elizabeth found an opportunity she would not have found any other way. “When I saw Western Resource Advocates on the site, a regional group that I had not previously know of, I knew I wanted to get involved with that organization. PSLawNet provided the information so that I could contact the group to see if they had an opening. They were not actively advertising a summer internship on the site, but by calling them directly I was able to secure an interview and ultimately a very rewarding summer job experience.”
